Founder and Team leader
Education is not a luxury, but a basic human right. Education is necessary to drive change and it is the stepping stone to a better future for refugees, for Jordan, and for the Middle East
This is why the Run4Refugees initiative was born to provide high-quality education to refugee students who are not given the opportunity and tools in life which can unlock the hidden potential in them that can result in inventions and creations which have the power to drive immense change in our region.
A dedicated team of university students from all around the world will be fundraising $10,500 to support the education of refugees. Additionally, we will be running from the dead sea to the red sea. To run with refugees on their journey of education and to give them hope that there is a better future awaiting them.
Let us all run together towards a better future by lending the hand of hope, the hand of education, and the hand of a better future to refugees.
Hey, my name is Walid Nabilsi and I am a first-year medical student at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I am grateful and lucky to be given the opportunity to pursue my education further, however it saddens me to know that many others do not have the resources and opportunities to do the same. That is why I am ecstatic to join Run4Refugees, as I hope to help turn this initiative into a crucible of change, bringing education and running together to propel our society forward.
Hello everyone! My name is Malek AlNajjar and I am an 18-year-old medicine student. I am a big believer in giving back and helping everyone around me. Therefore, I decided to join this cause to raise money and awareness for people who are less fortunate. Additionally, I’m very passionate about running and think that running is the perfect activity for this cause. I am very excited to be part of this team and this cause.
FAWZI AL JAWHARI
My name is Fawzi al Jawhari. I joined this team because I believe that everyone no matter their background deserves the right to an education that can secure their future. Since our team has graduated from well-known schools and attend important universities, we were given enough power and skills that should be used to build an exceeding and inclusive community that brings these skills to be further used for the better.

Hi, my name is Faris Dahleh. I am truly grateful for all the opportunities that I have been provided. I've been chosen as a finalist in the worldwide competition "Genius" for my project Horner anisocoria miosis strabismus technology application (HAMSTA) where anyone around the world with the use of a smartphone can detect Strabismus which is a condition in which the eyes do not properly align with each other when looking at an object. This has been possible because of the education that I have received. I believe deeply in the potential of refugees this is why I joined "Run4refugees" to provide a high-quality education for refugees so that they can have a better future.

ADAM ABU TOUQ
My name is Adam AbuTouq. I have always been attracted to a career in public services as it allows me to combine my own personal interests with my desire to make a positive impact within my community. As I have progressed through my studies, I have encountered several areas in which this combination has allowed me to excel, including health and fitness and criminology, and I have worked hard to ensure that I perform to the highest standard. Ever since my childhood, I have detected in myself a certain compassion and innate desire to help others. It is such a pleasure for me to be part of this great initiative which aims to provide education for refugees, unlocking their hidden potential.
Hi my name is Joud and I’m a freshman at the University of Exeter., and for as long as I can remember, it has been a rising passion of mine to help those around me who are in need. It was a quality that my parents raised me with as a child, and as I continue to grow, it has been intrinsic to my daily life. When I first heard about the initiative, I knew that it was something that I had to do. It’s unique, prosperous, and provides immense help to those in our community who are suffering. With the world constantly evolving, it is often imperative for an individual to be aware of the sufferings of those around them, and supporting refugees, and carrying their hopes with me brings me great happiness. Being able to have a role in a cause as such brings me happiness and strength, and provides refugees in our community with the inspiration and willpower to constantly thrive, strive, prosper, and grow.
